Plavi tim at Digital Day in Budapest

After several years of pause, Digital Day took place in Budapest, focusing on the importance of IT in the oil business. Around fifty of our colleagues traveled to Budapest on Tuesday afternoon for the event, which was organized for Wednesday. IT colleagues from MOL designed an extensive program with numerous lectures on IT and other topics relevant to the business. The Plavi tim, along with Lenovo, iStyle, Halliburton, and other well-known names, had its booth, where our drone, among other things, attracted the most attention from visitors. Our colleagues Ivica Črep and Karlo Jagušt presented the drone’s features and capabilities to all visitors, even capturing an impressive view of the MOL Campus from the air. Our colleagues Ivana Skrbin Horvath and Goran Josić defended our colors at the booth, providing insights into our business and handing out promotional materials. Additionally, there were two promotional short films captured by the drone, making the booth even more attractive. Besides the booth, we were particularly proud of our colleague Beata Parun, who conducted an online presentation as part of the educational section, titled “From Tedious to Automated: How RPA is transforming Retail and Downstream operations.” Various lectures took place at several locations across the Campus, with every available seat being occupied. A Power Apps application was used to collect points and the chance to win small promotional gifts from exhibitors. It was indeed a memorable day, with colleagues taking away valuable knowledge from Budapest, taking the opportunity to meet with colleagues in person and make new connections. Tuesday evening was reserved for sightseeing in Budapest (despite the bad weather) and socializing with colleagues, while on Wednesday, we used the breaks between lectures to explore the truly impressive MOL Campus.
